FIRE FIGHTING – FIRE PREVENTION STEEL TANKS

In the past few years we are facing a huge elation of fires, mainly in forested areas. Even though modern aerial and ground firefighting means are used, the results are often catastrophic.

Most of the times this happens due to insufficient water availability for the replenishment the firefighting equipment. The aerial firefighting equipment, apart from the sea and lakes, can not be supplied with water from other sources. Thus when the sea abstains some distance from the burning area, the time from the water drop until the new supply and the repetition of the drop, is enough for the fire to regenerate and augment.

 

To solve this problem our company has developed a very hard metal construction of open type water tanks, with suitable size and height in order to facilitate the fire fighting helicopter to gather water with the use of a bucket. At the same time, the tank can supply through special taps all the other ground-firefighting means.

 

With the proper regional planning, the installation of such tanks spread in forests will make the work of the firefighting means very easy.
